More Updating

Well some more steeniez news and some edits to peep. Keefer went out to Sunday River, Maine for Dumont Cup. Seems that the weather isn't the greatest but he made it to semi-finals. Congrats kid.

Now on to the visually pleasing edits. Keefe, Lee, and Crow all went to park city and got real RUFF...and dropped the new RUFF RYDRZ edit.

Procrastinatin' so now we UPDATIN'

So we've been slacking lately as far as updating the world wide web on STEENIEZ news so here it is.

Our season that never really started is in its final stages and spring shred is in full effect. While the snow wasn't there this year, the stoke was and we hope that next year we can re up and keep the stoke alive!

Keefe has been on his grind and recently submitted his superunknown to Level 1. There is no doubt that Nick is on the come up and got honorable mentions in the contest...the talent level of skiing these days is unreal and Nick getting recognized by Level 1 is huge. If Nick keeps up doing what he's been doing there is no doubt he'll be super known rather than superunknonw! Congrats Keefe. Here is the link to the edit. http://www.vimeo.com/9858655

In some more disappointing news Leo underwent knee surgery today. The last few seasons he's been blowing minds while skiing without an ACL. When we went to Aspen for Aspen Open he ended up hurting his MCL in the same knee and it was time to get that bad boy fixed up. Knowing Leo, he'll be back with a vengeance next season and i'm not to sure that the ski world will be ready for a 100% healthy Leo, the kids a beast! Let's all give Leo positive vibes for a speedy and full recovery!

Mini shred Andy Partridge and Nick also just got back from the east coast for JO's. Andy taking first and Nick taking second. Andy is a freak! The kid skis better than most people twice his age so look out for him in the near future cause he's about to take over! Congrats guys!

It also looks like Steve aka Dumpster Mummy just dropped his new beat tape. To get it go to the 4bi9 blog right here and follow the links. Mummy killing it on the slopes and in the beat lab! Also Mummy, Keefe, Andy and all the 4bi9 homies are all dipping out to the east coast for a 4bi9 shoot at Stratton. Keefe will also be doing Dumont Cup in Sunday River. So best of luck to Keefe at the contest and look for all of them to be bagging mad shoots for the new 4bi9 movie.

Well sometimes our hats show up in crazy places. Just watched Wiley Miller's video blog thing of his trip to Europe with Level 1 to GTS some skiing. And what do you know...Mr. Miller was rocking a STEENIEZ! I have no idea how he got it cause i've never given him one but hey whatever I'm stoked to see him slaying while keeping his dome nice and warm and stylish...check out the video and see if you can spot the STEENIEZ

Robot Unicorns Attack!!!!!

Well aspen open was fun i guess? Snow and some wack judging is what happened (condolences to McRae Williams, who got royally screwed in semis).

However it wasn't a total failure. The Polar Bear (Mr. Jeff Keisel) got himself into finals with some super steezy runs that consisted of (gasp) NOT A SINGLE DOUBLE FLIP!!!! Bout time someone with steeze gets noticed! Leo and Keefer both made it to semis. Unfortunutly Leo came up short on one of the jumps during practice and strained his knee, he fought through the pain and laid down a solid run to get him into semis. Lets just say he threw the most ridiculous back flip off a massive jump to seal the deal!

Besides the comp we also shredded around the mini park. During this shredding we filmed a little edit. Yeah thats right...ROBOT UNICORN ATTACK

Some Aspen Open

So this weekend is the aspen open up at buttermilk. The contest is on the X games course so its pretty sweet. Wednesday was the first and only full day of practice before the qualifiers on saturday. All sorts of PC friends and most of the steeniez ski homies are out here. Thirdward West just put out an edit of the practice and Nick, Leo and Crow have a few shots in it. Lets just say nick has the most banger opening shot ever!

Thursday also had the halfpipe qualifiers with mini shred and all round slayer Andy Partridge competing. Big ups to Andy for making it to semi's which are going down today!

Some Pow Mow Shredding

Last week Colorado native and filmer Scott Klumb made his way out to Utah to film at Pow Mow. While the weather wasn't the best and it didn't really snow like expected Scott made the most of his time and was able to put together a lil edit. I was lucky enough to have Weston call me and ask to come shred for one day and see if we could bang some shots out for Scott. It was definitely a good time and I'm thankful for the opportunity.

Been A Little Bit, So Here's A Super Update.

Yeah its been a little bit since i've updated this...what can i say i've been skiing. Park City has been going off even though there hasn't been much snow to write home about. Nick and Leo have all been carving hard and grabbing blunt like its nobody's business and keeping it super steezy on the jump line in Pick N Shovel.

Mini Shred Andy has also been slaying Park City harder than i can imagine. This kid is a freak of nature and soon a force to be reckoned with. More Carving hard and grabbing blunt!

The Crow has been getting his ski on as well making it to finals in a rail jam in SLC which is a big accomplishment for him considering he's not much of a rail skier.
Noe and Jordan have been getting after it in the streets of O-Town. Doing what they do best!

STEENIEZ also made a special delivery to the 4bi9 house right before the holidays to make sure all the guys heads are warm for their trip back east to hit rails. Steve aka Dumpster Mummy just got back from the homefront and is back shredding PC getting real dirty as you would expect from a Dumpster diving Mummy. I'm pretty sure all you younger kids won't get half the shit on this blog but its definitely OG and i love it. Gotta remember our roots kids!
